  1. Dear Diane,
My name is Pat McPherson and I am the President of an online publishing company specializing in continuing education courses about low vision rehabilitation. We have recently published an online course authored by Dr. Gordon Dutton titled, Cerebral Visual Impairment: A Practical Approach. I would like to talk to you about the courses we publish and discuss also your interest in authoring a CVI course for teachers. I invite you to view our course catalog at http://www.emeraldeducationsystems.com and our Principles and Practice of Low Vision Rehabilitation website, http://www.pplvr.com to learn more about our PPLVR Learning Community.

  2. I was thrilled to find your site. Having been a TVI for the past 41 years, I use all of the methods and materials you suggest. They work!!!! However, I am working with a CVI student who is now using his vision to locate familiar objects using eye gaze, but cannot maintain focus due to his inability to keep his head from involuntary movements. Do you have any suggestions for devices that can help control his head movements?

    In appreciation,
    Fran
